In each episode, our cinephile host, Stephanie Gardner, takes viewers on a journey around the world through the eyes and experiences of filmmakers from a diverse set of backgrounds, delving into their hopes, dreams, and desires. Each episode delves into the country’s history and socio-political context while viewers are immersed in the local filmmakers’ day-to-day lives, visiting their homes, neighborhoods, workplaces, hang-outs, and the locations that inspire their creativity. The series is ultimately about curiosity, empathy, connection, and the universal power of storytelling to bridge cultures and deepen understanding.</div><div><br></div><div>This screening will feature an episode on Nepal: From road trips to the jungles and flatlands of Nepal, to walking the streets of old royal cities, to a 14-day trek in the Himalayas, we discover Nepal’s diversity in terms of ethnicities, languages, and landscapes. We visit Anup and his family in time for the Tihar festival of lights; and get to know the spiritual richness of religions from Hinduism to Buddhism and traditional beliefs.</div>PT1H30M2026-09-14Stephanie Gardner
