March 23, 6 PM!** Equal Protection: The Supreme Court's Battle with Affirmative Action is an examination of race-based decision making as two cases before the court challenge its use in college admissions. Affirmative action policies were adopted by colleges to combat institutional discrimination. "Equal Protection" examines the history and future of affirmative action as two cases are brought before the Court in 2022 that challenge these practices. Interviews with scholars and key participants illuminate affirmative action's judicial history, its future, and the passion that surrounds it.
